Lafitte Prep Academy Tryout Policy & Expectations

By registering for tryouts, families acknowledge and agree to the following:

Evaluation & Selection
Tryouts are competitive and evaluative. Roster decisions are based on skill level, effort, coachability, attitude, and team needs. Participation in tryouts does not guarantee a roster spot.

Commitment Expectations
Our teams compete on the Puma Circuit, which requires a high level of commitment. Players selected are expected to:

Attend scheduled practices consistently
Be available for most weekend tournaments
Communicate conflicts clearly and in advance

Attendance Matters
Event participation is a core part of the Puma Circuit experience. Families should be prepared for regional and national travel and understand that availability impacts team planning and playing time.

Conduct & Sportsmanship
Players and parents are expected to demonstrate respect for teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents at all times. Poor sportsmanship or disruptive behavior may impact roster decisions.

Communication
Primary communication will be through email and team messaging platforms. Families are responsible for reviewing updates and responding promptly when required.
